Lee is a longtime friend and colleague of Geoffrey Quinn. Their friendship dates all the way back to 1969 when they meet in high school. In 2020, after more than 40 years in public and private accounting, Lee joined Quinn & Company and is now a Principal with the Firm. Lee began his professional accounting career with Geoffrey in 1977 at Arthur Andersen in Chicago. Lee was working as an assistant senior auditor on the manufacturing audit staff when he left Arthur Andersen and moved into private industry as a senior internal auditor at Pullman Incorporated.  He subsequently worked as the financial manager and controller at Sealy Licensing and Components Group in Chicago. Prior to joining Quinn & Company Lee was the accounting manager, director and controller at AAR Corp., an aviation supply chain, manufacturing and defense contracting Fortune 500 company. His knowledge of auditing, SEC requirements, and IRS rules combined with an unmatched work ethic helps him to analyze, understand, and find ways to meet client needs accurately and completely.

Lee graduated from the University of Illinois Champaign in 1977 with high honors and an Accounting Degree. Lee also became a Certified Public Accountant in 1977. He lives on the northside of Chicago and enjoys sports, running, biking and his two dogs.
