Geoffrey began his career in public accounting in 1977 with Arthur Andersen in Chicago where he worked in the areas of banking, regulated industries, governmental contracts and litigation support. In 1980, Geoffrey combined his professional experience with his entrepreneurial spirit and established his own Firm and has been in the private practice of public accounting since. Geoffrey is the original founder of Quinn & Company. Over the years, Quinn & Company has grown in size, scope and depth of services.  The Firm grew in geographic reach as well, now serving a multitude of clients’ diverse interests across the country.

After a long and successful career of more than 45 years, Geoffrey recognizes the time is right to pass the torch to the other highly qualified and experienced Principals in the Firm. Effective November 30 of 2022 Geoffrey retired from the practice of public accounting to devote the majority of his time to his rather large and growing family, as well as other pursuits.

Retirement notwithstanding, Geoffrey has agreed to remain with the Firm in a limited capacity as a Senior Advisor or Goodwill Ambassador as he prefers to say. Geoffrey’s new focus will include client relations, promoting the Firm’s capabilities and general advisory and consulting services to the operating Principals. Don’t be surprised if you see him in the office on occasion, speaking at a conference or out meeting with clients.  His years of service may have past, but his heart is in the profession, and that will likely never change.
